Ducted Air Conditioning
Ducted air conditioning, also sometimes known as central air conditioning, provides whole of home or whole of premise comfort.
Ducted systems are comprised of an indoor unit, an outdoor unit, and ducting. The indoor units tend to be installed out of sight, typically in the ceiling. The outdoor unit tends to be installed outside of your house in a suitable, non-intrusive location. The ducting runs to vents positioned throughout your home or premise, distributing the conditioned air.
Typically they are reverse cycle systems that can both heat and cool, and increasingly features such as Wi-Fi/wireless control and zoning are becoming common. Ducted systems are also built using a variety of different compressor technologies, including fixed speed, digital scroll, and inverter compressors.
