As a proudly Australian company, we know how important it is to give back to our local communities. That’s why we have partnered with Brisbane Roar FC to run the ‘Support Local’ competition, with a prize of 80 tickets to Roar home games throughout the season on offer to schools around Brisbane.
We conducted the competition through social media platforms via the hashtag #Supportlocal, encouraging students, teachers and parents in tagging their local club to enter into the running to win the Brisbane Roar tickets and fitness packs.
Through our partnership with the Roar we have also had the privilege of visiting the Brisbane Children’s Hospital alongside the players, and were also able to donate a signed Brisbane Roar jersey to Morningside State School to use in an auction that will help support them raise funds to repair some recent fire damage.
Sam Collins, QLD State Sales Manager, along with a number of Brisbane Roar players including Hayley Raso and Jacob Pepper, recently had the pleasure of visiting a number of schools within the Brisbane region, surprising students from schools such as Mabel Park state High and Glenala state school with the ticket giveaway.
Thanks to the efforts of Andrew Chan, ActronAir’s Community manager, and the Brisbane Roar marketing team, Support Local has been a great success and we look forward to sharing more amazing stories and events in our local communities throughout 2019.
