Here are a few achievements from the past few months that put a smile on our faces:

ActronAir celebrate 35 Years!

Some people are embarrassed to disclose their age, but here at ActronAir- we celebrate!

Last month ActronAir achieved an exciting milestone of 35 years in business.

We celebrated the occasion with a 35th Birthday Family Fun Day for staff and their families on Saturday, 1st June.

350+ people attended the event, with special guests Parramatta Eels and Mark ‘Frosty’ Winterbottom dropping by to help us celebrate.

This is a massive milestone for ActronAir and the Mundy family, having started in the family garage back in 1984. Today ActronAir has grown to become Australia’s largest locally owned air conditioning manufacturer.

 


30 Years in businessSafair, Platinum Plus Dealer

Congratulations to Eddie and the team at Safair on celebrating 30 years in business. Safair are one of ActronAir’s Platinum Plus Dealers, providing quality sales, service and installation in Sydney. We look forward to another 30 years and beyond!

100 Years of Rugby League – Northern Air Townsville

A special mention must go to Brothers Rugby League in Townsville who are celebrating 100 Years of Rugby League this year. ActronAir, together with our Distributor Northern Air Townsville are very proud to be associated with such a worthy club.

Congratulations to the following ActronAir employees who have been nominated for our Awards & Recognition Program. Keep up the great work!

Adrian Miller for his ‘One Team’ & ‘Customer Focus’ values. Adrian’s feedback from customers is of the highest level.

The entire National Customer Care Department for One Team, Customer Focus and Achievement values. January 2019 was the largest month recorded in department history, and they stepped up to the challenge. In fact, even in the middle of fielding a significant rise in national calls taken and order entry, 7 of the Customer Care team members posted personal bests during this time.

Brett Wilson for covering all ActronAir values. An example was when Brett took it upon himself to inspect stock to be dispatched (including support material) and confirmed it was in good working order. He found an error and had the issue rectified promptly to ensure the customer received the order on time and no problems occurred all due to Brett’s initiative and support.

Damon Baldacchino for One Team, Achievement & Sustainable Future ActronAir values. Damon, who has recently joined the safety committee, has been leading by example in regards to safety within the department. He has shown care towards fellow workmates as well as contractors when he sees something unsafe. He has also had an extremely helpful attitude and willing to do the extra work when required.

James Crabtree for One Team, Achievement and Continual Improvement and Innovation ActronAir values. James has relaunched and championed the 5S program on the shop floor. James has driven, implemented and followed through on this important improvement initiative. The 5S program focuses on having visual order, organisation, cleanliness and standardisation. The results you can expect from a Five S program are: improved profitability, efficiency, service and safety. 5S is a cornerstone of any lean manufacturing operation and James’ efforts have been critical in our journey to the full implementation of 5S.
